Bogey Golf ("the app") is an iOS app that provides shot recommendations and round tracking for golfers. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only information you provide directly through the app:

• Account information — if you choose to sign in with Apple, we receive your Apple ID and, optionally, your email address.
• Golf profile — your skill level, handedness, handicap, and club carry distances.
• Round data — course name, score, hole count, and round conditions you enter.
• Shot feedback — outcome ratings and miss directions you log after receiving a recommendation.

Creating an account is entirely optional. You may use the app without signing in, in which case all data remains on your device only.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve shot recommendations tailored to your profile.
• To display your round history and performance insights within the app.
• To back up your data to the cloud and restore it if you switch devices (signed-in users only).

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell or share your data with third parties.

3. Data Storage

For signed-in users, your data is stored securely on servers provided by Supabase (supabase.com), hosted on AWS infrastructure. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. For users without an account, all data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework and never leaves your device.

4. Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app (Profile → Danger Zone → Delete Account). Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

5. Children's Privacy

Bogey Golf is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

6. Third-Party Services

The app uses the following third-party service:

• Supabase — cloud database and authentication provider. See Supabase's Privacy Policy.

Sign in with Apple is handled entirely by Apple. We do not have access to your Apple ID credentials. See Apple's Privacy Policy.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the data stored about you (visible within the app).
• Delete your account and all associated data from within the app.
• Use the app without creating an account.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
